Them That Follow, the Olivia Colman-snake religion movie, reviews are split at 50% with 12 on RT. Usually I would wait until it’s released and more reviews come in but when RogerEbert.com releases their review and it’s a negative, it generally means that that’s where the tide is going to go (or that’s how I generally notice it). So that’s disappointing, but I’ll still watch it.

    BEST ACTRESS

  • Charlize Theron – Fair and Balanced
  • Nicole Kidman – Fair and Balanced
  • Lupita Nyong’o – Us
  • Isn´t Nicole supporting in Fair and Balanced? Also, I really doubt Us get the same reception Get Out got.

The release date is worrying. There is no reason for a Jordan Peele film to be released in March now that he has made his breakthrough with the Academy.

I was thinking that since he found out that he could make it with the March release date last time and still hit it big, he thought he could do it again.

That makes sense. Tho I doubt it happens.

I don’t think his focus is on making movies that appeal to the Academy anyway. I doubt Us, unless it’s some sort of masterpiece, will break into the Oscar race. Seems way too far out there.

This is probably my most anticipated movie of 2019, along with Luce
