Once Upon a Time in Hollywood looks great but I agree The Irishman could very well flop.

I feel more like OUATIH will flop because come on… you really will make a bloody gore fun movie about Manson murders?

I believe Tarantino need to change his style for it to succeed

It probably won’t be a contender but Ma‘s trailer is coming out tomorrow. It’s Octavia’s first lead role so it’s worth posting.

Leonardo Dicaprio and Brad Pitt are the leads and they hardly ever flop. They both are amongst the biggest box office stars of all time and this will be their big comeback. Not to mention the hype for this movie everywhere.

If anything it’s very likely to become Tarantino’s biggest hit.

    Best Actress:

    • Cynthia Erivo, Harriet
    • Alfre Woodard, Clemency
    • Aretha Franklin, Aretha
    • Saoirse Ronan, Little Women
    • Meryl Streep, The Laundromat
    • Emma Thompson, Late Night
    • Lupita Ny’ongo, Us
    • Anne Hathaway, The Last Thing He Wanted
    • Amy Adams, The Woman in the Window
    • Charlize Theron, Fair and Balanced
    • Awkwafina, The Farewell
    • Renee Zellweger, Judy
    • Cate Blanchett, Where’d You Go Bernadette?
    • Jennifer Hudson, Cats
    • Daisy Ridley, Star Wars IX

Daisy Ridley is certainly not getting a nomination for Star Wars IX. Pigs will fly if that happens. Also I believe Aretha Franklin died last year and would be a bit old to play herself when she is young.

    Emma Thompson in Supporting

Tamerhalldon,Leonardo DiCaprio and the word flop don’t match each other and they don’t come together. The biggest superstar of this generation is returning to big screen after 4yrs his presence is alone enough for making OUTIH cross 300million worldwide adding to that is stardom of Tarantino,Pitt and Robbie.Talking about the quality of movie OUTIH will be,well even at his worst Tarantino will give us a 60/100 movie which is I think is unlikely for OUTIH.Seeing how consistent Tarantino is with the quality of his movies,I guess OUTIH will be minimum a 80/100 and a smash hit at box office.I can’t really say anything about how it’ll do at awards since it’s releasing in July and there haven’t been news that it’ll be in competition for Cannes.

Keira Knightly has a new film that looks like possible Oscar bait. Cynthia Erivo and Awkwafina look good as does Saorise Roman.

Annette Bening for featured is looking good.

I can’t wait for Us. I loved Get Out so I’m excited to see what Peele comes up with next. I hope it’s as good.

That role + film sound awesome. I wonder if it’ll be released this year or next though.

are you talking about Aftermath or Official Secrets? I don’t think either one of them stands a realistic chance at the oscars judging by the release date and reviews (respectively)

I’m still salty that she didn’t gain ANY award traction for Colette
