I’m hoping not so M. That was a brilliant scifi novel that Lynch butchered.
I’d like to see it as close to being done “right”. Besides, it’s Denis Villeneuve, a talented (Canadian…lol) director that could pull it off.Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
Philip K Dick Blade RunnerNovember 5, 2019 at 9:02 am #1203167049Halle Berry has begun production on her directorial debut film “Bruised.”
She is working with John Wick producer Basil Iwanky. The film will follow the journey of a MMA fighter who walked out on her son.Come on Halle!!! Let’s get that historical 2nd Best Actress nod!

Sounds unusual but I continue to root for Halle Berry.
November 5, 2019 at 9:27 am #1203167100According to Willem Dafoe Nightmare Alley will start shooting only in March, not like was reported before in January, question is whether GdT will be able to deliver it in time for award season or perhaps he is aiming for lets say Cannes 2021.
In theory fast post production is possible but for example Shape of water debuted full year after shooting ended.
I’ve had it in my 2022 predictions for months now. It’s not coming out next year.

Lol Halle Berry is never coming back to the Oscars, much less for a film she’s directing
November 5, 2019 at 2:51 pm #1203167438Would love for Hawkins to finally get her moment (she just got a BIFA nom for Eternal Beauty) but Glenn Close still hasn’t had hers.
November 6, 2019 at 10:33 am #1203168622Am I the only one who think “TENET” won’t be a huge box office hit or profit considering it’s huge $250 millions budget.
I mean Yes,Nolan is biggest director alive and cast is stellar but none of em is superstar people will pay for just yet like DiCaprio,Cruise etc.
It’s not an adapted script or a SuperHero movie. It is an original script. There’s no doubt Nolan and cast will blow us quality wise but $250 millions is huge.

I believe a filmmaker will have an easier time managing a comeback performance from her in a supporting role than a headlining one.

I don’t even think she’ll get a baity supporting role in a good movie either though lol. She’s just so not in demand.

A newcomer auteur or possibly Barry Jenkins will take a chance on her in a very particular part. We can’t write her off especially when the opportunity to continue will always be there based on beauty and historic legacy alone.

nomineewinner Robin Wright’s Land has apparently been filming for a bit already, so I guess the movie will indeed be ready for this next season.Non-requested update: Focus Features has picked it up, with Demián Bichir and Kim Dickens co-starring. And Wright posted on Instagram about how filming is done now.
“No user starts this shady” - someone culturally relevant.
Also got banned because...reasons? So, I guess ciao.
