Glenn fucking Close! Y’all, she’s winning THAT Oscar either in lead or supporting.

If all goes well they’ll be forced to deal with her in a significant way.

I’ve already seen Eternal Beauty and I don’t see anyone topping Sally Hawkins performance next year. It’s what I call undeniable performance. I know Oscars are rarely about performance but she’s truly oustanding. Hope she lands at least a nomination.

Would you say that’s her best performance so far in her career?

Has anyone read the book The Last Thing He Wanted? If so, how big is Willem Dafoe’s character in the book? Because if his role is big enough, he could be a lock for Best Supporting Actor.

Oscars 2021: I support Denis Villeneuve (Dune), David Fincher (Mank), Willem Dafoe (The Card Counter), and Glenn Close (Hillbilly Elegy).

    Movie-lover overall.

She looks terrific, but she’s not winning an Oscar for that.

Close is a lead for Four Good Days

No she’s not. I’ve read the article the movie is based on and Kunis is definitely the lead. Close is the supporting mother who’s daughter has been addicted to drugs most of her adult life.

Amanda Seyfried??? I think she has untapped potential but her work in First Reformed and the  Mamma Mia! franchise does not indicate an Oscar nom is in her future.
