I can see… but Last Night in Soho? Production design is STACKED, and that’d be the best chance for that.

The Eyes of Tammy Faye has the potential to get 2 Oscar nominations: Best Actress and Best Makeup/Hairstyling.

The Tender Bar could get a surprise nomination for Ben Affleck but it is unlikely.

The Last Duel is still in contention for Production Design and Sound but is unlikely.

Richard Jenkins could still make it in to Supporting Actor (I don’t think he will) and The Humans could still get an Adapted Screenplay nomination.

Eternals will likely get a Visual Effects nomination.

Two films that deserve nominations: In the Heights, especially for Olga Merediz, for it’s amazing production designs, it’s sound, and how I wish there was a choreography Oscar (it would lose to West Side Story but it would be a great second place choice).

The Souvenir Part II: superbly directed, written, edited, and acted – the film has gotten no precursors love which is baffling to me.

Mass is a great movie, particularly it’s 4 main actors and it’s terrific original screenplay.

House of Gucci in a sense considering it went from being tipped as an across the board contender earlier in the season to only getting a makeup and hair nomination lol.

FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.
