Amy Adams for Best Actress in The Women In The Window lol… I remember reading one particular post that says she will be sweeping and got her overdue Oscar for that shit. Darling… I have to laugh and wipe my tears with Razzie trophy.

Did you know that movie shares a lot of similarities with “The Other Side of the Street”? It’s a 2004 brazilian neo-noir film also inspired by Hitchcock’s Rear Window, focusing on woman witness to a neighbor’s crime that works alongside the police. The movie won the C.I.C.A.E. Award in the Berlin Film Festival and it’s star Oscar-nominee Fernanda Montenegro won Best Actress – Tribeca Film Festival and Cinema Brazil Grand Prize for her performance.

I pointed this out because I believe “The Women In The Window” had a lot of potential. It could’ve been a great film and the right vehicle for Amy Adams had Joe Wright been more tasteful.
