Can critics please stop rewarding Top Gun pls???

Can Critics please continue rewarding Top Gun Maverick? Because it’s better than most films this year.

I am semi-retired on GoldDerby. Still predicting but infrequent in the forums. I am sorry for my past behaviour.

Fair enough. I loved it. I saw it like three times in the theaters.

The Satellite Awards are among my favourite film awards. I always look forward to their nominations. They usually have some interesting choices.

I wonder if they will completely shut out Avatar: The Way of Water like they did back in 2009. They didn’t even nominate the film for Visual Effects!

Yeah, the Satellites don’t get the credit they deserve as a precursor.

They’ve nominated things that “surprised” at the Oscars like Penelope Cruz in Parallel Mothers, Yalitza Aparicio in Roma, Laura Dern in Wild, Tommy Lee Jones in The Valley of Elah, and more
