Anybody know what time of day they will be dropped tomorrow? The lists are always fun and the debates about them are always great too – and more civil than alot of other ones on here too! (:

I am hoping West Side Story is on the shortlist for Makeup & Hairstyling. They put a great deal of effort into creating just the right look for each and every character – I am reading the book on the making of the movie at the moment.

Does anybody know which online sources are the best – and quickest – for finding out which films are on the shortlists? So looking forward to the discussion about them afterwards – it’s usually much more civil than the ones for the non-technical categories.

Presumably the Academy’s own website? They usually publish them on there I believe.

Spider Man in Sound, 4 Marvel movies in VFX, No Time to Die in MAKE UP (Ana de Armas power). They just didn’t watch many movies, clearly.

Nightmare Alley and Cyrano are the biggest losers. Nightmare Alley missed Score, Sound and VFX, Cyrano missed Score, Sound and Song.
