If Grace is correct and it’s ballad vs ballad with Gaga and Rihanna, Gaga will have the upperhand in that regard.
Whether Gaga or Rihanna wins, seeing them both at Oscar stage will be amazing.

“Lift Me Up” sounds like one long interlude. It goes nowhere. It probably won’t matter, but I hope voters pass over “Hold My Hand” and “Lift Me Up.” I’d say “Hold My Hand” is the better song, but it doesn’t help that the song is older and Gaga has an OS Oscar already. I hope we have better offerings. Perhaps, the Till song might be the beneficiary of a megastar split, if there is one.

Oh no… I was hoping for the Rihanna song to be a lot better.
