RRR’s only nomination being Naatu Naatu makes it hard for me the believe the Academy as a whole will vote for it.

Top Gun and EEAAO are the only BP contenders also in BOS.

These nominees don’t really make anything clear regarding who may win. 😭

RRR missing International Film after getting the Globe nomination and winning the CCA, makes it quite possible that it won’t win here. I think three nominees can upset, Top Gun, Black Panther and EEAO

EXACTLY. I am so curious to see how it will roll out. I still think that it is set for a NN win at this point, but the way that both Top Gun and Black Panther did pretty well in the other categories (Top Gun even made it to BP) makes me slightly question the certainty of NN winning it. We know how the academy is…

i knew mitski would get in with eeaao only rising in popularity through the season. it’s a highlighter for how much categories like this end up with coattails from major contenders when you don’t have a super strong field.

Im curious to know your logic behind NN winning. This award is voted on by the academy as a whole which basically just told us they have no love for the movie. I’m not doubting it since anything is possible but it would be strange.
