Darling, the Academy needs to expanding their recognition to actual great performances from underrated talents instead of name-checking those tired big names that keep contending every year.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Austin Butler wins the Oscar, the Academy love these baity performances.

Darling, from now on, I think these bland baity biopics should have their own respective categories. This year lead winners are so horrendous and baity, they robbed so many actual great performances in much better movies. this further proves the need of their own category lol…

I agreed with most of the Barbra Please arguments. The baity biopics are so done. I rooting for the creative storytelling with edge, nuanced waiting and kick ass acting

Butler is getting his flowers for Elvis, even among negative reviews. At worse, he is going to be Jennifer Hudson in Respect. We know the industry simply cannot resist these kind of performances…

Austin Butler is 100% going to get nominated for an Oscar.

I don’t see him winning like Rami Malek did right now, but as I said before the field is wide open and “Elvis” is very baity material, like it or not.

He’ll be a great Feyd-Rautha. I’m reading the novel right now and I can see him…

Personally thought the trailer for Elvis looked garbage and Austin Butler looked awful as well. Maybe I’ll end up enjoying the film but as of now I’d be quite disappointed if this ends up winning Best Actor.
