I think Song Kang-ho is going to be nominated, he might as well win one of the trifecta.

.  I am rooting for him so badly. Like I just feel like this film might be the one to snag him a nod.

Song Kang-ho is one of those actors on the cusp of eventually being nominated. I’m not sure how much of a campaign Broker will run this season but this category is tumble weed dry. If his name & the film are able to stay afloat, I could see him getting in maybe 4th or 5th place.

Per Fox Searchlight FYC Ralph Feinnes is lead in The Menu. I doubt he can happen but maybe he’s top 10?

I’ll believe it when Austin Butler wins SAG

That was the turning point for Redmayne and Malek

Before SAG, Keaton and Bale were strongly in the running

Maybe I’m delusional, but I’m wondering if Daniel Craig could make a serious play here given how empty the category is. He’s never been nominated, if Glass Onion makes it in for BP and if critics go for him? Maybe? I’ve seen several people saying he’s actually highlight of the film and is better in it than the first Knives Out.

    Song Kang-ho is not happening

Neon is putting their might behind Triangle of Sadness instead

Can confirm, it’s Fright Night. An unspeakably hot performance.

    For Your Consideration:
The Banshees of Inisherin in ALL categories, including:

    - Best Director
    - Best Actor (Colin Farrell)
    - Best Supporting Actor (Brendan Gleeson)
    - Best Supporting Actor (Barry Keoghan)
    - Best Supporting Actress (Kerry Condon)
    - Best Supporting Actress (Sheila Flitton)
    - Best Original Screenplay

The thing with Austin winning like Eddie and Rami isn’t good enough when both Eddie and Rami have won big prizes before win the Oscar (Eddie won the Tony in 2010 and Rami won the Emmy in 2016) so the industry already had support them, Austin still doesn’t have that I would say.

Let’s forget about Bill Nighy, Brendan Fraser, Colin Farrell, Austin Butler, Diego Calva and all the other potential first-time nominees for a second.

Which returning nominee, if nominated this year, would pose the biggest threat to win?

Tom Cruise, Adam Driver, or Hugh Jackman?

Jackman is my easy pick, but he’d even be in fifth place and not any actual threat to win. He just has the leg up because the other two barely register as a threat to even get a nomination let alone win.
