Netflix apparently picking Sandler as their priority in actor is pretty funny to me. And why not honestly? He was very good in this, the year is thin, and the Academy owes him one, so.

No one could rival Austin Butler’s performance level of difficulty in that film. It’s more than just wearing a wig putting on fake teeth and lipsyncing to Freddie Mercury. Butler gave a tourdeforce performance. The Academy will eat that up. I have him as the winner so far.
