Yep. Final voting officially begins four days after the SAG Awards. It will have a pretty big impact this year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see all four acting winners replicated.

I think a long voting period is good. It gives the voters time to actually watch the nominees. Do SAG members also get screeners like Oscar voters?

Since this is the Best Actor thread, my choice for now is Colin Ferrell over Austin Butler – I liked his performance just a tad more. Close though.

I made a list of who I think will most likely win in each category and this was the only category I left blank. I am being patient and waiting to see who actually wins SAG and BAFTA. Butler, Farrell and Fraser all could win the Oscar and this category more than any other hasn’t been decided yet. (I know I will get those awful responses saying “it’s all over, so and so will win, no doubt” but this just isn’t true – more information is needed!).

Rooting for Colin, would be happy for Austin, and would groan if Brendan were to win – jmho.

We have all those nominated television submissions to watch in addition to the films. Thank goodness I love to binge watch otherwise I’d still be sitting through the nominations from 2019.
