Bryant is someone who actively reproduces the bias we see in the industry and in awards punditry. Constantly pushing actors who are declared the ‘next big thing’ irrespective of performance, and the young actors being elevated in this way are (let’s be real) usually white. The fact that Sink is still being talked about despite the reviews demonstrates that she is someone being heavily pushed right now.
