Gregory Ellwood said SAG voters liked the film.

Jfc if Colman actually makes the Top 5, I will never doubt her again.

Maybe she makes SAG but not Oscar.

If Davis and Colman make into Top 5, I am afraid to think whom might they push out.

They seem to do that with their beloved british actresses. Helen Mirren, Judi Dench, and Emily Blunt all have multiple SAG noms for mid-reviewed films that never translated to oscar noms. Is there another category beside britsh white ladies that this keeps happening to so often? lol

Is there any SAG screening were they ended up not liking something?

    They truly like everything….

Danielle is fine even though campaigning is important. But on the other hand Academy voters do what they want if they like the performance that much and a good number of people have seen till she will be fine. House of Gucci was seen and lady Gaga campaigned and was very visible considering she’s on of the most famous women in the world. And she didn’t get a oscar nomination…Cause the academy will vote how they see fit lol.

Thanks for the info, for some reason the site didn’t load properly when I posted.

Paramount is making sure everyone and their mothers watch Babylon.

Jesus, Danielle is not included this season (Variety’s Actors on Actors). All the other Best Actress contenders are there: Blanchett, Yeoh, Davis, Robbie, Williams…

Its really ridiculous. Danielle would have been an amazing interviewee and interviewer.

I was hoping Viola and her did the interview together. That would have been such a moment like Cate and Michelle.

Any other year Danielle Deadwyler could coast to a Best Actress victory on the strength of her performance and not have to do any campaigning

That’s obviously not the case this year

Seriously, what the hell is UAR thinking?

Danielle Deadwyler is booked & busy. She won’t have time to attend every Q&A or Roundtable. The performance will speak for itself.

i think they use some “targeting campaign” look how Nicole Kidman and Andra Day ….even Penelope didn’t care that much about small critics group at least Trifecta…you know how much they spend money for it ….Deadwyler got Gotham, may be they’re focusing on industry voters

Best Actor : Colin Farrell, Brendan Fraser, Austin Butler, Bill Nighy

Best Actress : Michelle Yeoh, Ana de Armas, Cate Blanchett , Andrea Riseborough, Danielle Deadwyler

I hope Mia Goth is nominated.

Mia Goth is going to get snubbed like Lupita Nyong’o for “Us” and Toni Collette for “Hereditary”. The academy has always hated horror movies, with probably the exception of Silence of the Lambs.

I would love to see Goth nominated tho, but that just feels too good to be true.
