Your right but Blanchett is such a strong front runner that i can’t imagine the academy giving it to Yeoh for a action movie. Deadwyler gives your traditional Oscar winning performance which is a leg up in this field of lead actress. I’d be happy with a win by either Deadwyler OR Yeoh but Deadwyler’s performance remains my personal favorite of the year, male or female. I’m just hoping she can win a trifecta award or a precursor and pick up some serious momentum.
