Blanchett, Davis, Deadwyler, Williams and Yeoh
Based on AFI and Satellite I’m pretty confident in this lineup.
This line up would be SO. F*CKING. GOOD. I have my personal favorite but not a single performance in the 5 that I wouldn’t be happy to see as a winner in another year. That doesn’t always happen.
Looks like Neglia and his clan of misfits are still not believing in TWK yet still believe in Babylon. They are so biased.
Babylon can still get in per strength of technical support within Academy
Yeah I have to agree that the likeliest lineup (at least currently) is Blanchett, Davis, Deadwyler, Williams and Yeoh.
On bright side we might have 3 women of colour in best actress when was the last time this happened
Audrey Lee is just pressed her girl Margot’s movie is being shut out of best picture categories left and right.
At least she’s pretty and talented.

I am so happy. I have been sticking for Davis for a month now, and I am so glad she is most likely in. We have a perfect lineup with Blanchett, Yeoh, Deadwyler, Davis and Williams.

Blanchett is winning the Bafta, so that alone is enough.

No actress is out completely and there is almost always a snub. Blanchett and Yeoh are locked because they are in buzzy best picture nominees. Others are close to locked but not yet. I’m not comfortable with saying that all 5 nominees are locked and you shouldn’t be either.

True. As for locked, I would say that only Blanchett and Yeoh are secure. The rest are debatable. I do however feel that there is a good chance that Deadwyler, Davis and Williams are the other three. This race is slowly taking the shape, we see what movies are being named in Top 10, which performances are winning awards… We may get some surprises down the road, that is certain, but as far as the guesses are concerned, the five I am thinking of, have reasonable chances of being nominated. That’s all. Nothing is set in stone.
