I have a strong feeling that The academy love Margot,So she will earn her third nomination.

I’m sure you have that strong feeling. Not sure about the other part.

I’m not bitter. I’m doing my part at getting Mia Goth out there last minute. Let me get my Frances on please.

clearly you are lmao. If you love Mia Goth then say that, but why wrap it up in a veiled insult towards Andrea Riseborough?

Causeway is a small film with a giant heart. Brian Tyree Henry gives the performance of the year, and Jennifer Lawrence, Linda Edmond, Jayne Houdyshell, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Russell Harvard are all incredible. Please go find this gem, directed by Lila Neugebauer!

The way the industry ignored her…can I ever forgive them?

^This bitterness needs to be studied

It’s not really bitterness tbh. I think most people will be happy for Riseborough if she gets nominated, it’s just that the copy/paste messages are hilarious and it’s funny to think about what it’d be like if all these celebrities rallied behind someone who has absolutely no shot of a nomination.

(Also, love her, but Riseborough knocking out Michelle Williams wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world…)

Insulting Riseborough? Or am I making light of this absolute Laugh of a last minute desperate attempt to get someone an Oscar nomination? It has nothing to do with Andrea. It has to do with the slapstick comedy this all is. I’m having a bit of fun. It’s not for insulting anyone.

Still not understanding what’s wrong with wanting an Oscar nomination. She’s jumped through fewer hoops than the other contenders to try and get one, but for some reason she’s getting hated on.

There’s nothing wrong with it at all. Again, when we are making light of this, it’s not that we are dismissing Andrea or her performance at all, it’s that we are merely having fun with it on our own accord.
Andrea’s camp is throwing a Hail Mary in the 4th quarter with seconds to go. Not mad at it. I’m mad I don’t have the connections to do the same thing for Mia 😢

They’re not the only ones but I recall an internet push for Carrie Anne Moss and Linda Fiorentino. It came to nothing but I appreciated the effort.

the way Michelle Williams would be running away with supporting actress, but now she’s fighting for her life for the 4th/5th spot in lead

Angela Bassett/Kerry Condon should be thanking her tbh
