Why is that on Andrea and not De Armas or Williams or the Academy who had FIVE nominee choices but left them out?
because Ana was able to co-exist with both Deadwyler and Davis nominated in a lineup at BAFTA and SAG, while Williams was in a presumable BP front runner so on paper she should be able to get in and knock out anyone from a lineup if that movie was supposed to win BP, and was hyped for months to win an Oscar in acting (even if it’s the wrong category).
January 28, 2023 at 8:22 pm #1205273110I’m confused. On a smart phone, if you look up Emmastoner (Crabbie) and film123 under “find user/expert” you can see that both of those accounts are still active and have not been deleted.
so you guys make multiple accounts here ????
uhhh ….what a job …
Best Actor : Colin Farrell, Brendan Fraser, Austin Butler, Bill Nighy
Best Actress : Michelle Yeoh, Ana de Armas, Cate Blanchett , Andrea Riseborough, Danielle Deadwyler

??? I have only one account and I think, but am not certain, that Crabbie does also. My post which you quoted was in response to an earlier post saying that Crabbie’s account and the account under the name of film 123 had been deleted. those two accounts have not been deleted, and they may or may not be accounts for the same person.
January 28, 2023 at 11:10 pm #1205273155I just watched To Leslie and I’m concerned for Kate Winslet. Greatest female performance ever? Girl, not even top 100 ☠️
She was good tho.FYC:
The HBO darlings everywhere (The Last of Us, Succession, The White Lotus, Perry Mason, Somebody Somewhere, White House Plumbers, Love & Death);
The Apple gang (Bad Sisters, Slow Horses, Shrinking, Ted Lasso, Black Bird);
Poker Face, The Great, The Bear, Evil (especially Katja Herbers) and The Good Fight.Please! These gays, they're trying to murder me!
January 28, 2023 at 11:12 pm #1205273159Oscars Op-Ed: Why Surprise Nominee Andrea Riseborough Is Unlikely to Face Sanctions for Unusual Campaign THR’s executive editor of awards notes that Riseborough’s campaign follows in a long tradition of unabashed solicitation of votes that have often been, as in her case, the result of a financially uneven playing field.
Yeah a very good read.feinberg actually added some solid research and facts.

Wording are not though. Winslet to choose that exact phrase, nah it looked hella funny. And ofcourse got andrea trending. She has been trending ever since.

Probably an exaggeration by her to get her point across. It can also be since she just finished shooting a project Lee with Riseborough and has likely started filming another series The Palace with her, so might have gone overboard with the praise.

I seriously doubt Winslet was shading Blanchett in any way. Statements by both actresses clearly show the respect & admiration they have for one another and they’re also represented by the same agent Hylda Quelly. Also the last Todd Field leading lady would ofc not shade the current leading lady.

Ofcourse not shading blanchett, they are tight for decades because of Hylda queally, but the shade was for critics, and their inability to spot the criteria of great acting,

That one connects everything to Blanchett. If some other actress farts it’s because she’s shading Blanchett and the critics 😭

It wasn’t exaggeration. After she said it was the best female performance onscreen she’s seen I decided to look up what other performance she’s seen. Turns out winslet doesn’t even like to watch her own performance,and doesn’t watch too many movies. as she added onscreen in her quote that exclude the theatre performances.but yes i agree with you that she needed an headline worthy phrase that caught everyone attention to get her point across. And she did.andrea started trending after winslet’s quote.

Maybe because blanchett actually is connected.
