Now that things have cool down a bit, how many stats that were against her she overcomed?
The Volpi Cup + trifecta + Drama Globe + BAFTA combo was too powerful (not taking AACTA into consideration because Blanchett had home advantage and neither BFCAA because I don’t even consider them worthy of being called an award, LOL).
I recall someone saying Hilary Swank defeated Imelda Staunton with almost the same, but Staunton didn’t have Globe Drama and BAFTAs weren’t a precursor by then.
