    I don’t think people are so confident… I think Field may be the dark horse of this race. It’s not just TAR overperforming with the critics, it is also the fact it crept into all the guilds plus Oscar nomination morning. Then we have the slew of directors talking about him and Cate – Scrosese, Almodovar, Cuaron… If it wins one of the guild awards plus BAFTA, I think that would push him to a very much viable candidate for winning.

    I think most people expected TAR to lose steam by now and somehow it is still kicking, even getting second lease on life with international box office.
