I still don’t see how Brendan Fraser wins without The Whale getting a best picture nomination. The race isn’t over yet so maybe that can still happen but it’s chances are fading fast. Babylon being a late release was always going to hurt it. Let’s see what the reviews are and what the box office is.

Glass Onion getting snubbed here is weird, since it’s up there with their tastes and the first movie got in.

Babylon (I still think it will get in) instead of Nope and that’s probably the Best Picture 10, with She Said/Woman King with possibility of being snubbed for Glass Onion or a foreign pick.

Forgot about Banshees. One of Woman King or She Said will miss. (Elvis is not missing, c’mon)

Or Nope — at least one of Women King, She Said, or Nope seem likely to miss.

I really think Nope will miss and TWK is coming off strong so I really don’t think it will miss.

Elvis is totally getting in. I have no doubt about that. I do hope the Wakanda Forever delusion is finally over.

    If Babylon bombs at GG

I don’t think it will! There are hardly any contenders in comedy outside Banshees, EEAAO

    Babylon

    Banshees

    Pinocchio

    Glass Onion

    RRR

These 5 movies especially the first three can still get in! (Super confident about Banshees)

Crowdpleaser, did well at the box office, headlined by one of the most well liked actors in Hollywood. Lots of things in its favour.

Still surprised people have been underestimating it

Just like when Black Panther was getting nominated and how a lot of people were pissed off about it

This is positive momentum for The Woman King and Nope. For some reason i feel She Said is the most likely of these to fall out as the season goes on, followed by Nope.

Banshees received a special award from AFI since as an international production it was not eligible for the main top 10. This is the best possible day Banshees could have had so they’re in a very good position.
