In 2017’s The Circle (a really bad movie) and maybe in Road to Perdition, in which he played an assassin (but was sort of a sympathetic character)?

I think the Daily Mail of it all makes me somewhat question its authenticity here, but I do think people are really underestimating his chances of getting nominated here. I’m getting the sense that people may not want him to happen (I’ve personally never been a fan of his acting myself), but I’m starting to see a path for him nevertheless. He’s having a big year with his album releasing and also another big film project coming out, Don’t Worry Darling. Not to mention the pedigree and plot behind My Policeman look promising. I think that as long as the film and Styles get even close to warm reviews, it won’t be that difficult for pundits to insert him into awards conversation and manufacture Oscar buzz for him. His fans will also surely help with that. I truly think people should look out for him.
