Ke Huy Quan is this year’s Kodi Smit-McPhee.

Dano for Pitt and Whishaw for Redmayne and this is probably my predictions.

    Or only Dano for Redmayne.

only difference is that Ke Huy Quan actually deserves to be sweeping the critics awards – cause you know, he is fantastic and the best in his category-and will eventually win the oscar.

Same. Weird that Paul Dano wasn’t nominated at the Globes.

Ke Huy Quan is this year’s Kodi Smit-McPhee.

This comparison makes no sense. Their films aren’t alike. Their characters aren’t alike. The type of acting they do in these roles aren’t alike. They are in completely different age brackets and stages of their career. Completely different narratives behind their front runner status.

Ke Huy Quan actually has much more in common with Troy Kotsur than he does Kodi Smit-McPhee.

He was so robbed. Dano should’ve have been nominated.

The only plausible upset I could see is Brendan Gleeson. Yet I doubt Quan will lose. He’s probably sweeping.

Nope unlike Kodi , Quan has a huge narrative and is playing an emotional role , is part of a movie that audiances and critics love , is the type of performance that get rewarded and EEao is more accessible than tpotd

Gleeson won’t win if Farrell doesn’t

Is Redmayne like an actual contender for the Oscars… I predicted him for the Globes because it seems like a Globes thing, but this field is so barren that he might go all the way to the Oscar noms.. I don’t think he deserves though, I liked The Good Nurse but I definitely didn’t think anything was Oscar-worthy.

Sorry but this post is absolutely stupid. Quans performance is literally just like Troy, rather than Smith.

Worth noting that even though Paul Dano was snubbed today, he was already a previous Globe nominee for supporting actor for Love & Mercy.

I’m keeping him in my Oscar predictions.
