Jessie Buckley, Women Talking
Kerry Condon, The Banshees of Inisherin
Jamie Lee Curtis, Everything Everywhere All At Once

I am waiting to see Babylon and see how large and how good or not good Jean Smart is in it….
December 7, 2022 at 11:21 am #1205181863Darling, that actress who plays Elvis’ wife in Elvis just won supporting actress AACTA for just being there and got almost nothing to do except being horny and whining.
Darling, what the fuck.

December 7, 2022 at 5:43 pm #1205182290Funnily enough this is probably a better line-up than the one we will actually get for the Oscars
December 8, 2022 at 12:56 am #1205182689Satellite nominations for Supporting Actress are:
Jean Smart, Babylon
Angela Bassett, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Kerry Condon, The Banshees of Inisherin
Dolly de Leon, Triangle of Sadness
Claire Foy, Women Talking
Jamie Lee Curtis, Everything Everywhere All at OnceDecember 8, 2022 at 7:08 am #1205182960It really looks like Curtis will be the one to get nominated for EEAAO. Kinda disappointing for Hsu but I still hold out hope she manages to sneak in some precursors cause that performance definitely deserves recognition.
December 8, 2022 at 7:16 am #1205182975Taking out Chau from my predictions (even though she was the MVP of the movie) because A24 doesn’t seem to care about her and the movie just seems weak outside of Fraser.

It would be horrible if the screenplay gets nominated and not her smh 😭
December 8, 2022 at 10:43 am #1205183272Janelle Monáe won the National Board of Review for Best Supporting Actress, she’s coming for that nomination!

If she wins lafca then she might have a big chance
December 8, 2022 at 10:46 am #1205183292NBR makes a great choice with Janelle Monae – she stole Glass Onion with a really great performance! (:
December 8, 2022 at 10:48 am #1205183305Monae is coming. Most probably winning the Globe too.
December 8, 2022 at 11:01 am #1205183340If Glass Onion is nominated in Picture then Monáe likely comes along + its locked nom in Adapted Screenplay.
December 8, 2022 at 11:11 am #1205183372So here for the Banshees sweep at these critics organizations, but Condon not coming in with the awards haul is a bit sad because she was the second MVP of the film for me after Farrell. I’m getting Kirsten Dunst vibes from her (who was also my personal winner that year😭). I think Supporting Actress will come down to Monae and a Women Talking actress at this point.
