It sounds like there’s a reputation of repeated behaviours for Majors, people are starting to come out of the woodwork now that there’s proof. I think you’re about to see this become a big issue, yes, like a Nate Parker type of thing unfortunately. Marvel will wait a bit, but it will also look horrible to simply replace him. It’s going to be a tricky situation. Needless to say, I don’t think it will blow over this year, Oscar campaigning will only bring this back into the light if it does turn out to be swept under the rug. I think Magazine Dreams could likely be push to spring 2024 and you’ll see Marvel downplay Kang (don’t expect a post-credits Guardians scene) until they see where this goes and come up with a plan.

People haven’t learned a thing and almost a century later we are still at the same shit. Hollywood just couldn’t see a black man like Jonathan have that meteoric rise and be the next big thing. This isn’t surprising anyone familiar with how this system works. Stop acting like he is some Harvey Weinstein or Johnny Depp with their years of privilege and power. He’s a fucking black man that has no connections who barely just started in the industry. If he was actually as toxic and abusive as these ‘rumours’ make him out to be he would never be where he is professionally. Heard of When They See Us? Till? Those based on real life stories people love to stan and proclaim as horrifying? Y’all will regularly see black men get falsely attacked, accused, abused (mostly by white folks) and still act dumb.
