There are some really painful snubs in the acting categories I wish never occurred especially when I look at the actual nominees in those years.

Here we go :

Marion Cotillard for Rust and Bone

Charlize Theron for Young Adult

Tilda Swinton for We Need To Talk About Kevin

Sebastian Stan for I, Tonya…. (still can’t believe he wasn’t nominated anywhere)

Tom Hanks for Captain Philips

Charlize Theron for Mad Max: Fury Road

Michael Fassbender for Shame

Kirsten Dunst for Melancholia

Jake Gyllenhaal for Nightcrawler

David Oyelowo for Selma

Ralph Fiennes for The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Oh my… Bad. Emily Blunt for The Devil Wears Prada is one snub that shouldn’t have been. So so bad there. Also Maggie Smith in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel….personally, I’d place her above Jackie Weaver in Silver Linings Playbook
