Florence Pugh and Saoirse Ronan I have the strongest feeling will get an Oscar before 30. Kelvin Harrison Jr, Ashton Sanders, Jharell Jerome and Lucas Hedges can get one with right project. Now Timothee? I’m not sure, I just don’t see what y’all see but he’ll probably get another nomination before 30, I can’t see a win.

Anya is getting there, she has the qualities and is on the rise. Zendaya can land one with the Ronnie Spector project for A24 if she can deliver. I wanna say Tom Holland because I think he’s great and has the potential but he’s not great with picking projects and he’s more of an action star.

Ashton Sanders and Kelvin Harrison Jr. They just need juicy roles in great movies

I still think Sanders should’ve won for MOONLIGHT.

The first name that came to me when seeing this topic was Saoirse Ronan.

Chalamet is a one trick pony. Give it up! He just happens to be popular with specific age group.
Saoirse seems the safe choice; she just needs to go more Lady Bird and less Ammonite.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>People who hates Timothee and saying that He is a one trick pony is probably the same people who say the same thing about Leonardo Di Caprio back in the 90s.</p>

Leo’s early career performances in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape and Basketball Diaries > Timothee’s Lady Bird, Hot Summer Nights, Beautiful Boy, The King, Hot Summer Nights., Little Women, A Rainy Day In New York

No one is hating on him, he’s an okay actor but that whole “this generations Leo” talk is tired chile. You can’t be this generations future Leo if you can’t even hold a candle to young Leo.

Going slightly outside of the box and manifesting it for these two

    Stenberg-Robinson

Emmys FYC | Alan Tudyk in “Resident Alien” | Billie Piper in “I Hate Suzie” | Ego Nwodim in “Saturday Night Live” | Kaley Cuoco in “Harley Quinn” | “Dickinson” | “P-Valley” | “Pose” | “Superstore”

Saoirse Ronan is the most likely because she’s racked up so many noms already but on the flip side, she only has 3 years till 30. I could definitely see her winning just on the other side of 30, like Daniel Kaluuya just did.

Florence Pugh & Thomasin McKenzie. There’s so many actors I find just absolutely incredible: Helena Howard, Ashton Sanders, Margaret Qualley, Freya Mavor, Letitia Wright, Jessica Sula, Olivia Cooke, Jaeden Lieberher, Julia Garner, Joey King, Amandla Stenberg, Jacob Tremblay, Noah Jupe. I dunno. Could be anyone.

I think we sometimes lose sight of the fact that it is just so hard and rare to win an Oscar, especially if an actor is under 30. When Saoirse Ronan was nominated in 2015 at 21 for Brooklyn, I thought it was extremely likely she’d win an Oscar by the end of the decade. When Carey Mulligan was nominated in 2009 at 24 for An Education, I thought for sure she’d get another nomination before she turned 30. I’d have lost both bets.
