Keeley Hawes, she’s so much more than just a British TV actress. If she had the opportunity to she would easily be skilled enough to make it into consideration at the academy

With the way she’s been branching out into cinema since Bodyguard, I don’t think it’s implausible for her to pull an Olivia Colman with the right part.

FYC: Better Call Saul and The Good Fight in all categories including Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

She was the highlight of To, Olivia. I think she just needs an opportunistic supporting role in a film on the academy’s radar.

FYC EMMYS: THE CROWN IN ALL CATEGORIES (ESP. OLIVIA COLMAN - D. ACTRESS & HBC - D. SUPP. ACTRESS) & IT’S A SIN IN ALL CATEGORIES (ESP. LYDIA WEST - LIM. ACTRESS & KEELEY HAWES - LIM. SUPP. ACTRESS) & I MAY DESTROY YOU IN ALL CATEGORIES

After so many great TV performances, I’m surprised Sarah Paulson isn’t receiving prominent roles in major movies. She can easily win an Oscar with the right project.

i feel like she doesn’t have that much range as people are implying. she is good at playing one or two things but other than that she is pretty mediocre
also she is not short for work, she is everywhere

Jordan Fisher deserves a mature & grown up role. How many more years can he go playing teens?

Nicole Beharie and Caleb Landry Jones. I like ’em.

Edit: Earlier in the pandemic I watched Shame. This actually marked my first time watching–I kid you not–Carey Mulligan AND Michael Fassbender. Immediately after, I watched An Education and eagerly anticipated the release of both PYW and The Dig, in which Mulligan gives a performance of truly equal strength of hers in PYW. They’re both phenomenal. I’ve also 12 Years a Slave with Fassbender and he was terrifying. On a cringey awards-topic note, I feel like maybe this movie should’ve gone home with more wins throughout the industry circuit–is that the consensus here or am I off? …

anyway, all this to get to my thought lmao. Mulligan and Fassbender left great impressions on me when I watched them first in Shame, but leaving an equally great impression on me was Nicole Beharie. She was astonishingly truthful and always interesting in her acting. She is very spontaneous. After finally watching Miss Juneteenth last night, my opinion of her is only greater. We should be seeing her leading a many more incredible films methinks. I would watch her do a million things.

    watch I May Destroy You

Perhaps an incredulous choice at first glance, but Regina King.

Ideally, she would portray Michelle Obama in a definitive biopic of 44.

People are seriously saying Lindsay Lohan? The racist kleptomaniac escort who hangs out with middle eastern dictators and Russian oligarchs?

No wonder scummy people in Hollywood are always getting second chances.

A comeback for Oscar Winner Russell Crowe. With the right role, he could win his second Oscar. Russell Crowe as Best Supporting Actor in KITBAG
