    Fonda wasn’t an acting nominee for 12 Angry Men, just producing. He actually would have the widest gap solely between acting nominations: 41 years between The Grapes of Wrath (1940) and On Golden Pond (1981)

    That ensemble in 12 Angry Men is still one of the best.
