There are plenty of actors who are seen as overdue for an Oscar win with multiple nominations (Glenn Close, Amy Adams, Annette Bening, Ed Harris, Willem Dafoe, etc.) or even those who come to mind that have zero nominations (Donald Sutherland, Jim Carrey, etc.)

Which actors with only 1 acting nomination that have yet to win do you think is most overdue for an Oscar win?

My vote goes to Samuel L. Jackson, whose sole nomination was for Supporting Actor for Pulp Fiction.

Here is a list of all actors with Oscar nominations:

I know. I know, you hate him in The Happening and the Transformers films among others, but he has a decent body of work, both in lead and supporting.

Also, I think the question is only limited to those actors who are still alive. So, no Charlie Chaplin etc.

I don’t care that he’s young, Timothée Chalamet.

Emmy voters must bend the knee to Lena Headey & Emilia Clarke for "Game of Thrones." It's their last chance to award them. Make it happen.

I have to say Timothée Chalamet. He was too good as Elio in Call me by your name. Wayy ahead of his time.

Maggie Gyllenhaal, Vera Farmiga and Amy Ryan. All underrated.

Margot Robbie is awfully too talented to not have an Oscar. She should have won for I Tonya.
