Interesting that they have 2 very fine directors in a year where directors, IMO, were at the top of their game.January 11, 2016 at 11:21 am #208135
So Del Toro and Lee do the first part while John announces with CBI. Shades of last year.January 11, 2016 at 11:26 am #208136
I like this lineup!
"I don't even believe in god, but I'm going to thank her tonight."January 11, 2016 at 11:30 am #208137
What an odd trio to put together. Del Toro and Lee are great choices, but why Krasinski of all actors?January 11, 2016 at 11:31 am #208138
I like the directors they picked but I am rather annoyed by who they pick for the acting nominees. The last few years the guys they have chosen are out of no where and I liked when they would have an actual oscar winner step in and announce as a way to welcome them to the club type of feel.January 11, 2016 at 11:35 am #208139
Krasinski has the BENGHAZI!!!!! movie coming out the following day. Gotta promo this to people other than psychotic right-wingers.January 11, 2016 at 11:36 am #208140
I hope this means John Krasinski is actually going to be a thing beyond that new Michael Bay propaganda piece.January 11, 2016 at 11:56 am #208141
I hope their english is on good level?January 11, 2016 at 12:04 pm #208142
That is unquestionably a weird mix. I guess Krasinski is pretty charismatic, so I’m fine with it. As long as nobody flubs a name then they could really have anyone they want and I’d be fine with it. I don’t watch the ceremony for the presenters.January 11, 2016 at 12:09 pm #208143

I would assume that these three men have heard their own names mangled sufficiently to invest the preparation time to insure proper pronunciation of the names of all nominees.January 11, 2016 at 12:22 pm #208144
5:30 am PT, what time is that in Europe?January 11, 2016 at 12:24 pm #208145
Just put 5:30AM/Los Angeles for the left hand choice.January 11, 2016 at 12:51 pm #208146
Yay to announcing all the categories again!January 11, 2016 at 1:17 pm #208147

Surely they are studying how to pronounce “Saoirse” xD
My bet is that they don’t get it right LOL.January 11, 2016 at 1:20 pm #208148
Del Toro is an interesting choice seeing as he actually has a movie in contention (Crimson Peak). It might not get anything but it’s a contender for Production Design and Costume Design (I’m predicting it for the former category).
