None of the three ballots posted today voted for Campion, which is very odd considering she had a clean sweep this year.

!! You’ve got to be sh_tting me. Oh no I cN guess for whom they voted….

Of the five that were, I liked all of them, but the best was clearly [Italy’s] The Hand of God, which is the closest thing to Fellini I’ve ever seen.

The year is 2050 and people will still act like Sorrentino’s shameless channeling of Fellini aesthetics is somehow organic and comparable to his craft.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/brutally-honest-oscar-ballot-dont-look-up-coda-1235116095/amp/ Here is this year’s HR’s brutally honest oscar ballot! ETA: lol it’s even more iconic than usual.

Drive My Car is not a bad movie, but it belongs in the international feature category, not here, just like Parasite did.

I know they’re emphasizing that they cast Latino and Latina actors this time, but the actress who plays Maria is named Rachel Zegler, so I think that’s a little overstated.

but I didn’t like Olivia Colman’s interpretation of that character [in The Lost Daughter] — she was just a one-note, bitter woman throughout,

FYC: Better Call Saul and The Good Fight in all categories including Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

CODA fans are questionable… Like intellectually questionable.

This is totally uncalled for girl.

Reven, please stop. If you’re trying to make us all look bad, it’s working.

It seems like Spielberg, Cruz, Smith, DeBose, and Kotsur are currently leading the anonymous ballots.

As for Editing, these ballots are no help 💀

I know it’s still the early stages but TPOTD having 1 vote across all categories is uh not good.

The lack of love for The Dog in those ballots is… not great. I guess I am not going to predict an upset in Cinematography…. I think Campion is safe.

I’ve counted votes for Dunst (1), Plemons (1), Screenplay (2), Cinematography (2-3), Editing (0-1), and Score (1). But yeah, not much love so far.. especially in Picture :/

Remember that these anonymous ballots are an incredibly small sample size compared to the Academy at large.

They’re insightful, but I wouldn’t advise making drastic changes to your predictions based on them.
