It seems this movie is not for me. All critics are saying the new teenagers(the sons and daughters of the leads of the first movie) are the true leads of this sequel. And most of the times, I hate teenagers
ROFL at “I hate teenagers”… I may be right there with ya… But I kinda hated the first one too. So, my expectations are beyond low…. In terms of Awards (and of course sight unseen), I really think this is only getting in for Sound and Visual Effects…. Maybe Production Design?

Probably Cinematography as well.
It looks visually spectacular and the production pioneered underwater 3D technology.
They specially made a 3D stereoscopic beam splitter system to shoot the film underwater.

Cameron knows the secret sauce. I didn’t like the first movie, couldn’t comprehend why my friends kept saying “wow the world was amazing, took me to another place.” He knows what he’s doing.
