So happy for All Quiet on the Western Front . 14 nominations out of a possible 15!!! Huge win. However, the Actor jury are disgusting for snubbing Felix Kammerer’s absolutely stunning performance.

Incredible nominations, the Oscars must learn from Bafta. They really hate The Fabelmans and Women Talking though.

And I did very good, I predicted Daryl McCormack, All Quite both in film and in directing, Park Chan-wook and Todd Field in directing, Angela Bassett (people have to stop doubting her), She Said and The Quite Girl in Adapted and Eddie Redmayne (he was truly outstanding, people need to watch the film and stop hating on him, he is not Jared Leto, he will make it).

The snub of RRR in International was also very obvious.

A complete shutout for Women Talking? Only one nomination for The Fabelmans? I’d say that it was because those films are too American-centric, yet Top Gun: Maverick still managed to rack up 4 nominations. I’m hoping Tuesday’s Oscar nominations don’t hew too closely to these, but I am feeling a little nervous nonetheless.

Moral of the story: Time to get rid of Aftersun in my Oscar predictions.

Do you mean from BP? Paul Mescal got in and it got casting. It got British debut and British film. I’m keeping Mescal in my Oscars noms.

    Here for the comedies

Odd though that it has a nearly all British/Irish cast.

Black Panther snubbed in costume design.

They really said no the film except in 1 category, just like for the first film.

"EGOT" and "Triple Crown of Acting" winner: VIOLA DAVIS!!!!

Some of these doesn’t make any sense.

Angela Bassett for Black Panther Wakanda Forever… but nothing else. Not even costume.

    EEAAO in Music Score… Ok?

Empire of Lights showing everywhere but no Olivia Colman.

No Avatar The Way of Water in Production Design… big joke.

    Amsterdam in Costume ☠️

So happy for The Batman tho

So happy that Banshees got all 8 nominations I absolutely insisted it should get (Film, Brit Film, Actor, Supporting Actor (twice), Supporting Actress, Director, and Original Screenplay) – plus two more nominations! A repeat of the seven next week is a must for me.

All Quiet getting 14 nominations! WOW! So glad I predicted it for the Oscars BP lineup at 100-1 odds! (but Felix should have made it in to the Best Actor lineup)

I am hoping Banshees is the big winner next month.
