    All Quiet could potentially win Cinematography. Doesn’t mean it would win the Oscar, though.

    The Whale got everything it was hoping for. I’m think it’ll get Picture, Actor, Supp. Actress, Adapted, and Hair + Makeup at the Oscars now. Thrilled for Chau in particular!

    Want Want by Maggie Rogers - Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Music Video, Best Country Song, Best Melodic Rap Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best Country Solo Performance, Best Rap Solo Performance, Best Metal Performance, Best Rock Song, Best American Roots Performance

    MGM was the worst possible distributor for Women Talking.

    What a shame.

    Hope that next season MGM is more aggressive with that Amazon cash.

    We have an explanation!

    Bless her

    Women Talking’s underperformance this season is tragic

    I found the jury to be very populist this year. The need to match up Oscar Top 5.

    I feel so sorry for her and everyone else who worked on this movie. I expected it to do so well at the beginning of this season 🥺

    All Quiet scored 14/15 nominations. But I also want to celebrate EEAAO’s stellar performance. They scored 10/12 nominations. They have international support!

    While I am hoping for Banshees to win Best Film and Best British Film I wouldn’t mind All Quiet winning but it will likely win Best Film Not in the English Language…

    Hoping a Banshees Supporting Actor (Barry would be my vote, but Brendan would be great too) and Kerry Condon win at BAFTA – I want them to win an acting award at a televised event this awards season and Quan and Bassett are very possible at SAG and at the Oscars – besides sweeps are dull (unless you love that performer or movie, of course!) (;

    Mostly I am pleased with the nominees and I did great with the acting categories, only missing DeLeon and Maccormack (sp?)…

    Getting into Score was pretty great. I think it could win Picture here.

    All Quiet winning here would be pretty cool. I’m going with Banshees though.

    In which categories (if any) do you think BAFTA has all five Oscar nominees?

    Why are you reporting this post? (optional):
