I should have stuck with Ma Rainey in Costumes. I predicted it in Makeup and I originally had The Dig winning in Costumes because I thought that a film that performed as well as it overall would benefit here but I switched to Emma. because of the flashiness of the costumes. I should have gone for Ma Rainey considering it was an amalgamation of both!

FYC Emmys: "The Crown" in all categories, "I May Destroy You" in all categories, "It's a Sin" in all categories, "Small Axe" in all categories, Billie Piper ("I Hate Suzie"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Stateless") and Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials")

I got 5/6 because I changed to Emma in costumes a couple of days ago.

5/6 surprisingly but I went with the prevailing oscar over british “wisdom” so I picked judas even though that was a stupid pick

Prince William will not be participating in this year’s ceremonies following the death of his grandfather, Prince Philip.

Just realised I forgot to make BAFTA predictions.

I want Kirby to win the BAFTA, I want this race to be even more iconically messy. She also deserves mainstream recognition for her amazing performance.

Since you don’t want to know the winners in advance, better don’t read in the forum. There will always be someone who loves to spoil things.

Finally an awards ceremony in my time zone! Come 9pm I will be VPNing my way into the BBC and sit on my couch with a cuppa like a normal human instead of the 4am nightmare.
