Me when Frances McDormand wins over the unrecognised works of Vanessa Kirby, Bukky Bakray, Radha Blank, Wunmi Mosaku and Alfre Woodard…

FYC Emmys: "The Crown" in all categories, "I May Destroy You" in all categories, "It's a Sin" in all categories, "Small Axe" in all categories, Billie Piper ("I Hate Suzie"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Stateless") and Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials")

Oscar winners Emerald Fennell Daniel Kaluuya and Youn Yuh-jung

Not some of the nominees’ responses to the Best British Film of all time being Small Axe

I hope the BAFTA membership pulls a crazy surprise in Actress and Supporting Actress to make things fun. Fingers crossed for Niamh Algar and Alfre Woodard!

When Ashley Madekwe wins supp. actress.

I wouldn’t mind that! She gives my third favourite performance in this category.

Actually she would have certainly won if the winners were decided by a jury like they were on the television side (instead of the composite system they have on the film side). It’s the exact type of gritty performance BAFTA TV juries gravitate towards.

Well, that was safe af. Costume, Production Design, Sound and Make Up and Hair are so locked for the Oscars I can’t even. VFX is the only open question, kind of.

I was thinking before Tenet would lose, but the Oscars do love their subtle practical effects. Tenet has a lot of it.

Isn’t it crazy that even with three of the Best Actress frontrunners snubbed here, the category is still pretty much the most unpredictable of the entire evening?

THIS is what awards season should be.

I mean Kosar Ali is like 18 or 19, she probably hasn’t seen most of it 🙂
