But I agree. I think it will fall somewhere in between. Maybe not anything groundbreaking but definitely not a major disappointment either. But it’ll probably surprise us in a good way. It’ll also probably be set in some particular time period.

Curious about the tone of the movie and if they decide to go commercial.
I have no doubts with Greta though. I found Little Women to be the perfect combo of mainstream and artistic and Lady Bird is a Film Twitter favorite.

Gerwig and Baumbach are dynamite writing together. Frances Ha was wonderful, Mistress America was hilarious. Lady Bird was a masterpiece.

Little Women was too commercial for my taste, so I hope Greta doesn’t sell herself with this project (I think she’s going to write a superhero movie tho… 🤦‍♂️)

It’s such a bizarre premise, I hope they make it a kind of offbeat comedy as I can’t see it working sincerely. The whole thing seems like a feature length SNL sketch.

I like the all star supporting cast tidbit. Sairose Ronan as Skipper and Adam Driver as GI Joe? Haha
