Phoenix will probably win but I think Bale may be a sleeper in this category

    3. DiCaprio

Unfortunately DeNiro and Banderas might be over.  I doubt they are getting in at BAFTA.

Banderas should be fine. SAG has skipped over every Foreign Language performance that got nominated at the Oscars this decade so. Weirdly enough, the only one they nominated ended up being an Amy Adam victim.

I would say yes for Banderas in another season but it’s so crowded: Pryce, Bale, Egerton. Driver, Phoenix and even DiCaprio seem almost locked.

Nope Bandera’s, De Niro, Murphy, Sandler are out.

    This is Taron v. Phoenix

Taron will score a GG (Comedy/ Musical) + BAFTA and Phoenix will score GG (Drama) + SAG + Critic’s Choice!

Phoenix, Driver, and DiCaprio are LOCKS. Bale and Egerton just need BAFTA and they will have more chances, though I think one might miss out and Banderas might sneak in. De Niro is losing chances.

    Oscars FYC:
1917 - Best Picture, Director, Sound Editing, Visual Effects, Cinematography
Ford v Ferrari - Best Editing, Sound Mixing
The Irishman - Best Adapted Screenplay

    Scarlett Johansson - Best Actress
Joe Pesci - Best Supporting Actor
Stand Up (from Harriet) - Best Original Song

I think Pryce is sneaking in.

Folks were coming for DiCaprio’s head! Glad he is much more secure now!

If Rocketman doesn’t get a Best Pic nod, Taron has no chances

I am happy,DiCaprio is getting his 7th nomination.

What he did in OUATIH wasn’t easy was being underrated by many.It wasnt easy to switch 2-3 accents whilst his character Rick Dalton is acting in Lancer and Bounty Law.He will be a decent nominee.

On the other absolutely gutted for De Niro snub, that bad CGI and Blue Eyes may have done the deed.

Also sad for Antonio Banderas right now.

While Banderas and Pryce might not even get their first.

When will ya’ll stop saying anyone’s a lock? Seriously… last week, DeNiro was a lock, he’s now missed out on two major precursors.

Nothing is definitive until it happens. The crystal balls ya’ll have. I mean, wow.

I’m iffy on DeNiro. I think he could still get the Oscar nomination. Irishman is obviously strong and the other contenders other than Banderas just seem like random picks.
