Methinks Aldis Hodge and Jonathan Majors should be poll options. And, though his body of work isn’t exactly as Leading, Caleb Landry Jones.

FYC: Michaela Coel and Rosamund Pike

Also Gyllenhaal definitely had a head start as he’s a child of Hollywood (Jamie Lee Curtis is his godmother) whereas Driver is just some working class dude who wound up at Juilliard.

I knew Gyllenhaal was a Hollywood kid but had no idea about the Jamie Lee Curtis thing.

    It’s Driver or Gyllenhaal.

Adam Driver is so overrated here. I can’t believe he’s leading the vote. Jake Gyllenhaal is the best. He’s closely followed by Daniel Kaluuya

    Good he’s not leading anymore

I personally think Ryan is a great actor but I don’t enjoy his movies I think the only one I really enjoyed was The Notebook.

Gyllenhaal and (at least for me) it isn’t even close. Chris Pine being included in this poll is the funniest thing ever.

Lol, I voted for Chris because I think he was great in Hell or Highwater but it’s true that there are better actors than him

Andrew Garfield is a better actor than Robert Pattinson.

    The Social Network
    99 Homes
    Hacksaw Ridge
    Silence
    Under The Silver Lake

Way too underrated compared to the Goslings and the Pattinsons of the world.

In Mr. Robot (especially season 4), Rami Malek gives a performance I’ll never forget. Unbelievable. That said, I hated BoRap and I think he has yet to find the right cinematic projects to shine (when will No Time To Die return from war…). For now, still, he’s my MVP.

Robert Pattinson has chosen very interesting projects in the last 5 years and has matured so much has an actor. He’s my other favorite alongside Gyllenhaal.

    2021 Award Season, FYC:

Best Actress: CAREY MULLIGAN for PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN
Best Actor: DELROY LINDO for DA 5 BLOODS
Best Supporting Actress: GLENN CLOSE for HILLBILLY ELEGY
