I gotta say, I’m very proud of the fights here. Sometimes they’re too intense (and nonsensical) for my taste, but its the first time Best Actor is not a cemetery.
You dames keep defending the D you want to see winning. I’m probably the only person in this forum who hasn’t watched Joker but it’s a matter of days.

Why is this thread still open? It’s game over for everyone not starring in Joker.

You close this thread and Movies basically becomes an appreciation round table for Laura Dern (nothing wrong with that) and trying to figure out who came second in 1853 (nothing wrong with that either)

    This is for fun.

Dear,I admire you but we stan actors because of believe we have in their roles and performances not in their fans,be it they are irritating or disgusting.

@stegeo user liking every post that disses me😂😭.

O’Hara’s pic selection was lovely and on point. I couldn’t resist. Kord, please, leave me the f*ck alone. And stop being such a pathetic attention seeker. Literally nobody cares for you on these forums. Why would you want attention on an online forum anyway? Talk about pathetic. P.S. You’re the one who took this public.

According to one of y’all, the typical GD user is fat, gay and lifeless. I’m NOT fat, NOT gay and I have a pretty good social life with many friends and everything. I just happen to love same stuff (awards, films etc..) as y’all even though we’re COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! DO NOT worry babes, I’m looking for a way out, like completely dropping the awards stuff since no one in my entourage care about them, so y’all will be happy that I leave for GOOD. But in the meantime, get used to see me around 😘

didnt one of u, stegeo, and pulp admit on the deleted posts in the crown thread that y’all are the ones making the multiple accounts to troll the website?

Joker stans need to stop acting like Joaquin is unopposed. This is an extremely competitive category. Phoenix will almost certainly be nominated, and he has a strong shot at wining. But he’s not a lock.

I can’t believe people seriously discuss here what actors should win based on possible reactions from some freaking folks on twitter!!!

I’ve seen Joker yesterday and I think that Joaquin Phoenix gave a good performance, maybe even worthy of a nomination. However,I think that no actor should ever win for following that screenplay. I’m sorry, it may not be fair, but even though Joaquin was giving his best I couldn’t fully take him seriously because of what he was saying. I’m pretty sure Adam Driver is winning anyway so I’m not stressed about it.

Facts. Joaquin did the best he could but the script was too damn weak for it to be any type of phenomenal performance like people suggest.

I was jokingly discussing on a reddit forum wouldn’t it be great if we got a tie with Joaquin and Adam this year.

But, seriously I’m now thinking, do you think it’s a real possibility. I mean, it has occurred before in the best actor category. Of course we’ll have to wait until the precursors are given out and particularly how SAG turns out but I’m thinking it could happen…. ( or is this wishful thinking)

I have to agree. If Glenn and Gaga can tie when we all thought Glenn was the epitome of critics favourite then, Adam and Joaquin tying at critics choice is a real possibility

Let’s be real, Critics Choice would tie Dern and JLo before they’d tie Driver and Phoenix.
