Bryan Singer is a controversial figure in Hollywood but I mean he got fired from this film what more do people want in order to stop blaming the film itself(which I have not seen)? His influence is still a part of the film of course but to those who deplore Singer I don’t know if bashing the film due to him is going to help anything. Look into organizations like BizParentz that have been trying to stop Singer’s alleged wrongdoings for years if you want to help get a grip on Hollywood’s child star sex abuse problem.

Rami Malek’s acceptance speech at BAFTA was so gracious, so kind, so beautiful, his best one yet! All of his speeches have been great was this was his best (so far! One more to go!) (: I am so happy for him! (:
His acting performance was phenomenal and I am so glad that so many agree (while acknowledging that not everybody has the same opinion), and he has won the Golden Globe, SAG and now BAFTA! (: I am so looking forward to his Oscar win!

    Love your enthusiasm Freeman!

Darlings, I wish Cooper made a Sharon Stone and sent luxury watches to the HFPA. We are having Animatronic winning because he lost that fucking Globe. We have learnt that if you want to win an acting dildo, you have to prevail at the GG and everyone else will sheep it. So sad and, obviously, disgusting.

Yup. As much as we like to ridicule the HFPA, they set the scene for how things will likely play out. Malek’s momentum started that night.

I feel like this is the appropriate thread to post this, but yesterday I was visiting some family and I mentioned Malek winning over Bale and Cooper and my aunt praised him to high heaven. Yet, when I brought up valid criticisms on his performance all she had was praise and ASIB being a remake was reason enough for Cooper to not even be considered. The nostalgic delusion is spreading to the family, sigh.

I hate your aunt to be honest.

We also have the globes to blame for BR’s the Best Picture nomination

Fuck the Globes ugh. They also are the one to blame for Offensive McDormand’s win last year.

If only that was true for Aaron Taylor-Johnson… sigh…

I just love movies. And awards.

Now that was a performance that should’ve swept the awards. How disappointing that turned out.

Oh prepare for the backlash of the century. GoldDerby snobs thought Johnson was actually Razzie-worthy. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya.
