Watson wins it for me. But it was a great year for nominees

The role of Marge Gunderson is indeed iconic, but I pick Blethyn. She and that movie were perfection.January 17, 2018 at 1:04 pm #1202469519Tie between Emily and Frances

January 17, 2018 at 1:12 pm #1202469529Blethyn for sure, though Watson is incredible too. McDormand is funny but it’s hardly on the same level of those two. Scott Thomas has great screen presence but I’m not sure if it’s a great performance and Keaton, forget it.

McDormand is obviously iconic in Fargo, but Watson would probably get my vote. Blethyn is great as well.

5. WatsonJanuary 17, 2018 at 4:58 pm #1202469679I think with McDormand, the greatness really lied in the character and the writing, rather than what she as an actress did with it.
