Hopefully Radioactive is amazing and Amazon goes all out for her next season. She deserves so much better than what she’s been getting, awards-wise.

if the GG can skip over Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman and Saoirse Ronan for a movie that wasn’t on anyone award radar, she’s destined to get a follow up nomination and a win.

I just saw The Favourite and what the fuck are Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz doing on the supporting category? This is one of the worst cases of category fraud i´ve ever seen.

The most ironic part is that both of them are gonna cancel each other out. Allowing someone like amy adams or regina king to swoop in and take the win.

The Awards Watch forum reported that the screen time counts are:

    56:17 Emma Stone
    47:05 Olivia Colman
    44:38 Rachel Weisz

I can take Weisz in supporting.  She has third billing anyway, is on screen for only thirty-seven percent of the film’s runtime and Stone’s performance is a quarter longer.  Stone is unacceptable in supporting.  The movie is about her character’s arc, as she is “the favourite” and she has the most screen time by a good margin.

I can understand the case for Colman and Weisz as either lead or supporting. Stone is 100% a lead.

The three of them are lead. The whole film is about the relationship of the three of them, there´s no lead character.Of course that screentime and the title makes Emma´s case the worst of them all but if I were the oscars I would place the three of them on lead.

Olivia would have won GG for Best Supporting…therefore Blunt would’ve won Best Actress..as she deserved. Ugh.

Emma Stone for the same film would have won if that was the case.

I have seen A Private War. With a better distributor Rosamund Pike would be getting nominated in a cakewalk. God knows she deserves it. It’s one of her TOP3 best performances. Girl just can’t catch a break. She was fucked over last year and she’s fucked over this year. She should have already been a multiple golden dildo nominee with at least one win.

Girl, stick around. You vanish on us lol

These times are interesting. When Olivia Colman was not on screen, I felt like her presence was there and I kept wondering what is her character doing and when will she appear again.

I wish the Academy was smart enough to place Emma in Lead and push Colman to supporting.

    Olivia would easily win.

    Gurl, me too.
Olivia is undeniable supporting and Emma is super lead, if she hadn’t won already she would be in contention for Lead Actress for sure since it’s her best performance yet.
Weizs is kinda borderline on this since she has some big attention, specially at the beginning of the movie.

But when I think of the definition of a supporting performance, Colman fits perfectly in it. She would won easily btw. But honestly she’s being overhyped and doesn’t steal the movie as much as people say, despite doing great.

oh man… I don’t wanna sound as a Colman stan (word of the season), but she steals the show.

Yeah, I know this is a unpopular opinion. Maybe its bias towards Stone’s performance that I loved. But I found Colman brilliant anyway
