Don’t remind me sweetheart. I’ve been having nightmares all week since our prayer circle was destroyed by Payola

maybe she offended a top Academy voter greatly. Because come on, these snubs can’t just be happening for happenings sake.

Now I believe everything is possible….. Even the possible.

He’s an Egyptian you wanker. And people are still wondering why do I hate SJWs… smdh

Egypt is a country, not a race. His race is white.

I think actors will embrace Close tomorrow- her resume is so packed with highly noticeable work in film, television, and in theatre that SAG voters will feel obligated to honor her. If she wins tomorrow, the race is probably over especially for Lady Gaga. Colman will only have a chance if she beats Close at BAFTA and even then Close still has the advantage given Colman’s British edge there.

Did y’all forget that Gaga lost at the Golden Globes to Glenn? Close has the popular vote and the credibility within the actors branch. Colman is the only one who could steal the SAG away. Anyone who genuinely believes that Gaga’s going to win is oblivious to the fact that these nominating bodies have nominated her for media attention. They have zero intention to award her in the long run, especially with Glenn having such an overdue narrative and a performance to boot.

You people think that because Egypt is in Africa, there can’t be white people there? Wow!

I think the “Why did you marry me?” scene is basically Glenn’s clip.

I’ll settle this stupid debate, ancient Egyptians were Afrocentric that were displaced by Arabic and Macedonian migrants/conquests, and the modern Egyptians are still the same. So, Malek is definitely not white and descends from Arabic/Afrocentric ancestry. Á la a quick google search and the University College of London. Plus a history lesson.

Malek is a white man with blue eyes. In what universe is he a POC?

Nonsense.  He totally gets picked for extra screening at airports.

Why are we still arguing Malek (especially his ethnicity) in this thread?

If Close presenting means she’s not winning, Gaga’s not winning either.

And I definitely don’t see that happening.

I was just about to say this. Why does he keep on coming up in this thread, is there some announcement to be had? Lol
