Even Chris Beachum didn’t wanted Close to win, along with Tom O’Neil.

Tom been predicting Lady Gaga since 1945, after she genuinely lost the SAG, he putted Close #1.

They been wanting to put her 2nd so bad that they didn’t hesitate one second after Olivia Colman won her predictable BAFTA.

Anyway Close is winning. Stay pressed.

Don’t pull me into this mess of a topic. I’ve had Glenn Close in 1st place pretty much the entire awards season.

I know some say she’s a lock now, and though I’m still inclined to think of her as a favorite for the award, I don’t think she’s a lock.

After everything that Glenn has received in recent weeks (the standing ovations, the publicity, the 3 precursor wins, the various other awards and honors) you think that the end result will be that Colman wins??? People think Malek is a lock even though he has won the same number of precursors as Glenn. So I don’t know why it’s hard for some people to accept that Glenn is a lock also.

And in Beachum’s defense putting someone in first doesn’t mean that’s who they’re rooting for. (Maybe they are but they’re trying to be accurate.) There are categories where I don’t like who I’m predicting but recognize they’re likely to win.

What made ya move Colman to 1st Chris? I mean, you will be right but just curious.

I wanted to see if you would answer.

Either you have a spy or you really read the threads which is cool.

PS: I don’t drag you for whoever you’re rooting for. You’re free, it’s democracy here.

Ugh. You tricked me. Chris didn’t move Colman into first. He still has Glenn there. Maybe he will make the move soon so he’s right in twelve days.

Or he changed after I mentioned him.

I did not called him out tho. Lol he does what he wants.

My concern is that why can’t I say what I think about the two men, Long as I stay polite… Aren’t y’all tired of sucking D.

Naw. Look at the date of the predictions. He hasn’t changed his Oscar predix since before Bafta. Neither has Tom. I’m not sure where you thought they had.

You can actually look at anybody’s predictions for any date, all the way back to day of nominations (or even back to last August for the few months before nominations). I don’t think I’ve changed Glenn Close for all of those weeks or months.

I’ve definitely struggled on Actor and Supporting Actor, ultimately landing on Malek and Ali before SAG. I’m pretty sure I’ve never changed on Regina King winning, despite her snubs.

I’ve debated changing suppprting actress. I don’t feel King is as solid of a lock as I did. I’m beginning to see Weisz and de Tavira as possible upsets there.
