Halle Berry, Monster’s Ball**I don’t really hate the win per se because it was disgraceful how a BIPOC actress had not won yet (and is still disgraceful that Berry is the only one to have won) but I hate that it was for that particular performance as Berry has had much better and this category has had plenty of women of colour nominated who should have cakewalked a win before (in particular both Angela Bassett and Whoopi Goldberg).
