January 22, 2018 at 10:51 pm #1202475157It would be All About Eve vs The Godfather and the other 8 nominees wouldn’t even really matter.

January 23, 2018 at 4:31 am #1202475296Darn it is hard enough to to pick the best movie of the year let alone the Century. I am going with Titanic !! Runner up Gone with the Wind. Both were more than movies. They were bigger than life. They were epics.
Runners up:
Ben Hur
Ten Commandments
The Sound of Music
To Kill a Mockingbird
Citizen Kane
I wanted to put the epic movie Crash in there but I just couldn’t do it. What was epic about that movie was the look on Jack Nicholson’s face when he opened the envelope !!-

ReplyCopy URLJanuary 23, 2018 at 4:52 am #1202475315The Godfather. Sometimes the best answer is the most obvious one. Citizen Kane was phenomenal as well, but the Coppola film has more nuance and re-watch value as entertainment in my opinion.
